Silage Truck Driver

Description

This job would start around Labor day and last until mid October.  All three crews stop at 12:00 am for lunch.  Noon meals are paid for by employer.  Days of the week are Monday through Saturday.  We only work on Sunday if weather prevents us from working on a different day.  This job consists of three separate parts.  Corn silage harvest is first part of this job.  Corn silage season will last about 7 to 10 days.  Typical hours are from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm.  Earlage harvest is the second part of this job.  Earlage season will last 14 to 21 days.  Typical hours are from 8:00 am until 9:00 pm.  Corn (grain) harvest is the third part of this job.  Combining season will last 10 to 14 days.  Typical hours are from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm.
